Add Domain
Domains in Infoveave help organizations manage and use their data effectively, improving operational efficiency and decision-making. They categorize and group related information, making it easier to analyze large datasets. Domains enable quick data filtering and sorting based on criteria like customer details or product categories. They also enforce data standards, ensuring consistency and ease of use across datasets.
To define a new domain in Infoveave follow the below steps
- To add a new domain, navigate to Data Governance Domains.
- Click on the Domain tag on the left side panel of the screen.All domains created if any, will be visible under Domains.
- To add a new domain, click on the New button.
- Enter a unique domain name that reflects the nature of the data it will encompass.
- Provide a detailed description outlining the purpose or scope of the domain.
- Click Save to incorporate the new domain into the system.
- For existing domains, you can edit the information or delete them by selecting the respective actions.
