• Edit Datasource Status Click the pencil icon next to a data source name to select whether the data source is verified or not verified.
• Categorize Datasources Assign specific domains, tiers, tags, and glossary terms to help organize and classify the data sources.
• Manage Sharing Status View whether a data source is shared or not shared to manage access permissions.
• Track Datasource Updates View information such as created by and updated by, along with the respective dates for transparency and version tracking.
• Edit Description You can either manually edit the description of a data source or generate automatically using AI for streamlined content creation.

Documentation

In this section, you can find the Description of the datasource. Users have the ability to edit the description manually or use the AI feature to generate a more detailed description based on the provided information. This AI-assisted feature analyzes the existing data to create a more comprehensive and relevant description.

In the Documentation section of the datasource, you can edit the existing information to keep it updated or enrich it with additional context. This functionality allows users to refine and modify the descriptions of each datasource, providing a clearer understanding of the data’s purpose, structure, and usage.

Measure and Dimension

This section outlines the measures (metrics or facts) and dimensions (descriptive attributes) of the data. It allows users to understand how the data is categorized and measured within the datasource. Users can refer to this to gain clarity on the underlying structure of the data.

Columns

Here, the individual columns of the datasource are listed, detailing their names, types, and additional information. Users can edit columns as required. Editing allows users to modify column definitions, type, and any metadata associated with them, enabling better data organization and understanding.

Quality

The Quality tab displays the results of the most recent Data Quality checks that have been run for the datasource. This ensures the integrity and consistency of the data, providing assurance that the data is accurate and ready for use.

Lineage

This feature shows the lineage or origin of the data, illustrating where the data is coming from and its transformation journey. This allows users to trace the flow of the data from its original source to its final destination, ensuring transparency and facilitating troubleshooting.

Documents

In the Documents section, users can upload relevant files that assist in creating a more accurate description of the datasource using AI.
